Mumbai: Luxury car-maker Skoda Auto India has launched petrol version of itsmid-level premium Sedan Laura RS priced at Rs 15,99,069 (ex-showroom Maharashtra ) here.
"The new Laura RS is a performance-orientedproduct aimed at car enthusiasts who have an emotional connect with their car.It's not a product you choose on pure rationale as the RS badge evokestremendous passion amongst the owners," SkodaAuto India Board Member andDirector for Sales & Marketing Thomas Kuehl said in a statement here.
The 1.8-litre Laura RS will be available in foursporty shades of sprint yellow, race blue, candy white and magic black, he said.
"Designed to provide maximum driving pleasurethrough performance and precision, the RS continues to build on Skoda'sreputation for comfort and safety," Kuehl said.
Skoda, which is part of the German VolkswagenGroup, has a manufacturing facility atAurangabad in Maharashtra and sells four models namelySuperb, Laura, the hatchback Fabia and recently launched Yeti.
The Cezch auto major has 73 dealers across thecountry and sold over 1,19,304 units of all its variants since its entry in thedomestic market in November 2001
