Isuzu Truck F-Series Overview with Pictures

The market today requires a truck that can accommodate a wide variety of applications. We at isuzu,we faced this challenge through our series F, which provides great comfort, easy maintenance and low emissions. The result is a line of trucks that can do the job with ease and efficiency. Our F-Series trucks are built to work in harmony with the driver, environment and application. Therefore we call upon the F series the “Perfect Companion” for a new era of advanced engineering trucks to meet the needs of customers in a constantly changing marketplace.
A modular approach to cab design and construction means that the Isuzu’s F-Series and FX-Series models all share the same cab. The cab only appears more ‘aggressive’ on the FX-Series as it has been positioned slightly higher and more forward to accommodate a much larger engine. There is also no difference between the F-Series and FX-Series in terms of interior cab layout. The benefit is considerable in holding in parts for cabs across 18 truck models. All models are fitted with standard air-conditioning, radio and electric-powered windows that will please drivers and reduce fatigue while added personal safety comes from a driver’s airbag.

A standard 400 liter fuel tank provides adequate range for medium-haul applications while a very competitive oil-change interval of 20000km minimizes downtime for servicing.

Craig Uren, Isuzu Truck South Africa Chief Operating Officer concludes – “The new Isuzu FX-Series at the top of the F-Series range now completes our model line-up. We are able to offer GVM and matching power for every application and terrain. There are many areas of Southern Africa where trucks need the additional torque, GVM and GCM that our new FX-Series models offer – it’s all part of a transport solution where our real focus is on parts and service. The new FX-Series really places Isuzu’s product offering in a formidable position.”
The design enhancements to the new F series are part of a ceaseless effort to produce the ultimate transporter in today's ever-changing market. A commitment to supplying top-quality commercial vehicles take into account not only demand and trends, but also changes in the working environment in the 21st century.

The redesigned cab offers better access, superb seating support; more headroom and a spacious wide open feeling. The easily scanned instrument panel, handy combination switches and larger windshield give a true sense of luxury behind the wheel.

Isuzu Pickup 2008 Review with Pictures

The Isuzu Pickups made their debut in 2006, and the crew cab model was quickly nominated as "Truck of the Year" by two different magazines, "Truck of Texas" and "Four Wheeler of the Year." IntelliChoice named the 2006 models a "Smart Choice" in ten different ownership-cost categories, and singled out the 2006 i-280 Extended Cab S as the "Top Winner" in its class for lowest repair costs.

For 2007, the i-280 Extended Cab 4x2 becomes the i-290, and the i-350 Crew Cab 4x4 is renamed the i-370. Trim levels remain unchanged: the i-290 is available in base S trim, with Preferred Equipment, LS and Luxury packages optional, and the i-370 is available in LS or optional Limited trim. Both vehicles get larger, more powerful engines. The changes for the 2007 model year:

Despite these upgrades, pricing is unchanged from 2006. The i-290 Extended Cab 4x2 S begins at a manufacturer's suggested retail price of $16,989, while the i-370 Crew Cab 4x4 LS starts at an M.S.R.P. of $27,358.
