Volvo says that its upcoming all-wheel-drive S60 T6 AWD sedan will list from $37,700 when it goes on sale later this year. The 2011 S60 offers way more in the way of luxury and performance as it guns for more upscale - and more expensive - rivals like the BMW 335i and Mercedes-Benz C350. Though it clearly follows Volvo's current design language, the S60 promises even more active and passive safety along with sporty performance.
The 2011 S60, 1.0 inch longer, 2.4 wider, and 2.2 taller, somehow manages to appear sleeker and tidier than its predecessor. Chalk it up to Volvo's new "emotionally charged" coupe like silhouette and overall "racetrack" appearance, which refers to the exterior lines' continuous and organic flow, supposedly mimicking vehicles in motion.Whatever taking place on the sheet metal is working -- the new S60 is as stylish as it is safe.

2011 Volvo S60 comes with a single engine option and pumping under the hood of S60 T6 is a turbocharged 3.0-liter inline six-cylinder engine honking maximum power of 300 hp and 325 pound-feet of maximum torque. The standard transmission here is a six-speed automatic transmission having manual and sport shift modes, which also is the standard transmission here and so is the all-wheel drive.
The equipment list for the S60 T6 comprises of features such as a sport-tuned suspension, all-wheel drive, front sport seats (eight-way power having memory settings for the driver), 18-inch alloy wheels, aluminum interior trim, leather upholstery, dual-zone automatic climate control, a tilt-and-telescoping steering wheel, Bluetooth, an eight-speaker audio system having a single-CD player, an auto-dimming rearview mirror, HD radio, satellite radio, an auxiliary audio jack and an USB/iPod interface.
